Welcome to Punarjan Co.
We tackle textile waste by giving new life to waste fabric scraps, empowering marginalized women, and championing a circular economy.

About Us

At Punarjan Co., our mission is to reduce textile waste and promote an inclusive labor force in India.
We upcycle katran, or small fabric scraps, into functional bags. Through our production process, we train and provide skilled employment to women survivors of domestic abuse
and trafficking.

Every bag we make gives new life to waste and a second chance for marginalized women.

We proudly work in collaboration with Vidyaranya Ujjwala Project and local tailors.

Our Work
01
Skill Development
We have trained 13 women at Vidyaranya Ujjwala Project, empowering them to find skilled employment and ensuring that they aren't forced to return to exploitative circumstances.
03
Sustainability
By upcycling katran, an often overlooked type of fabric waste, we reduce the carbon footprint of local tailor shops. So far, we have upcycled 40+ kilograms of fabric waste.
02
Dignified employment
Through our production process, we provide dignified employment to survivors of domestic abuse and trafficking so they can be financially independent.
04
Life Skills Workshops
We conduct workshops on financial literacy and soft skills so that our beneficiaries can achieve success in work and life.
Our Sustainable Goals
Our initiative works towards several UN Sustainable Development goals (SDGs). Through our sustainable approach, we're transforming waste into opportunity,
empowering women to shape their futures, and building a more resilient and sustainable community.
